KLINGER GPI operates www.klinger-gpi.com (the "Service"). This statement sets out the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website. Definitions

We use plug-ins from YouTube to incorporate videos on our site.

In the case of our presence in individual social media channels, we may act as joint Data Controllers together with the operator of the respective platform where the latter does not act as the sole Data Controller. On the basis of our legitimate interest (legal basis is Art. 6, sentence (1) letter (f) of the GDPR), we are entitled to process the following:

Social Media Share Buttons

We use links on our websites to several social media sites. The social media share buttons are links to the respective social media site. If you access web pages of our website, which have such a link, this will not create a connection to the respective social media site.

Only when clicking on those links, data will be sent to the social media sites. If you are logged in on the social media site at the same time, the social media site will associate this information to your personal user account. Please note that we have no knowledge of the exact content of the personal data transferred to the social media site, or how this data is used. You can only prevent this by logging out before using the link.

Web Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze how visitors use our website. The data thus gathered is used to optimize our website and advertising measures.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes the data on the use of our website on our behalf and is contractually bound to implement measures ensuring the security and confidentiality of the processed data.

We do not transmit any Personal Data such as name, address or contact data to Google Analytics. Web analysis only enables the website operator to record and analyze how website visitors use this website. For this purpose, the website operator receives miscellaneous Usage Data, such as usage time, page views, dwell time, operating systems, or screen resolution. It is also possible to record whether website visitors perform certain actions, such as clicks or purchases.

This data is transmitted to Google servers in the USA. We expressly point out that it is not possible to guarantee that data protection legislation in the USA offers the same level of protection as in Europe. 

Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years after your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID which makes it possible to recognize you when you visit the site again.

The recorded data is saved together with the randomly generated user ID to allow the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is deleted automatically after 14 months. Other data is stored indefinitely in aggregated form.

If you do not consent to the collection of your data, you can block it simply by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or opt out via our cookie settings dialogue.

This service does not use any Personal Data. No data is read or stored on the website visitor’s device. The IP address of the website visitor is anonymized. It is not possible to identify the website visitor after visiting the website.
